Surely this is a kids/early teens show, so why are they ramming homosexuality and sex scenes in to it? This would never have happened on Lois and Clarke.

OP I agree with you. I can't stand the gay storyline. I so enjoyed this show the first season with Cat and Maxwell and no gay story line. It was a show you could watch comfortably with kids. Not anymore. And Alex and her pining one minute over Maggie then pretending to be standoffish because she feels jilted. She's become a weak, pining school girl with a crush. Sick of it. If it keeps up I'm done. The CW channel is far down on my TV anyway and I can easily forget it. I don't like the changes. And I miss Cat and also Maxwell. So if they continue with the stupid behaviour of Alex and the gay stuff, I'm done.
Teenage love affairs are about intensity, not longevity
