Or would it be too early?

I don't think it's possible to have 'Man of Steel 2' before 2019. Their schedule is full and, from what we know, they don't have a script or a director for that movie. Amy Adams' age doesn't help either. We also know that there won't be Clark Kent in that sequel, cause he's officialy dead in this universe.
I don't think delving into "Injustice" would be a good decision here, there's no room for that. What're they going to do in the 'Cyborg' movie (2020) or 'Green Lantern Corps'? Showing another prequel, origin story, while there's this apocalyptic scenario playing out on Earth in the present time?
Have no idea how they're going to develop this universe, but surely it'll be interesting to watch.
I should add that the 'extended nightmare sequence' from 'BvS' clearly shows that the 'Injustice' storyline in some form is a part of the history of the DC cinematic universe, however how they're going to execute it? Again, no idea. -

The Constantine and the greek gods parts should be almost completly excluded from a cinematic version of Injustice. They felt too much like fillers. But they should include a scene where we would see Superman persecute and kill magic users, since they can bring him down. With the exception of Constantine. They could show Batman trying to recruit him and being told to beep off by Constantine, that "to the hell with the world, I only care for my daughter" would make an amazing scene.

Probably too early. Leave it for the Superman movie or JL2.

She was killed by the Joker in Kingdom Come (seen in flashback); she died in Injustice: Gods Among Us (Superman was tricked into killing her by the Joker - which kicked off the whole Superman-tyrant thing) - both of which are alternate futures. Golden age Lois died in Infinite Crisis.

If you're talking about the Flash's time travel scene, I don't think that will come into play. Or is it supposed to? Because I was under the assumption that had she drowned in BVS, Superman would have gone nuts. But he saved her, so shouldn't that dark "INJUSTICE" inspired future no longer exist? It should have been Batman who saved Lois, but I figured it was just sloppy writing. Are they planning to adapt Injustice story lines in the future? I'd rather the two heroes just unite and fight evil. We don't need another movie where Batman has to battle Superman.

Hmm. Gotta say I didn't see it quite that way - but if they were thinking of going down an Injustice route and then changed their minds they could certainly use that as a device to get around having to follow-up on Flash's time-travel visit, I guess.

I originally thought the Extended Cut would include an entire subplot set in the future.
Maybe they were hinting at future story lines, but if Lois' eventual death wasn't the drowning, then the scene feels completely random to this movie.

It is possible but why would she die? Maybe in a JL Kingdom Come movie but that will make Superman more Emotional and Sad or JL Injustice movie that will turn Superman in a dictator, both version will be criticize to death.
But I doubt they will kill Lois in the DCEU they will probably make a Father & Son Superman movie just like the Rebirth Superman comics. And that will be a family oriented action movie including Lois.
