Right. Like the adding more Loki and Darcy Lewis scenes in Thor 2. That definitely didn't ruin that movie.

Pretty much any big budget movie not directed by someone like Chris Nolan is bound to have some reshoots. It's apparently unavoidable these days, and it's hardly even uncommon for MCU movies.
There is not a single MCU movie that didn't have reshoots since IM in 2008.
Those are planned (ususally 2 weeks of reshoots) before the movie even enter production phase and those costs are even included in the overall investment cost beforehand.
