I know I am going to get a lot of insults and hate for saying this but I really think that Marion Cotillard's entire Performance as Miranda Tate/Talia al Ghul was underrated in "
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES
" and I am pretty sure that it is mainly because of her bad death scene which is really unfair. I don't think it's right for someone to throw out an actor's entire performance in a movie just because of 1 bad scene. If you just put that 1 scene aside then I think that her performance in the movie (especially the short amount of time we saw her as Talia al Ghul) is actually very good. What does everyone else think ? -

Maybe people didn't like that her character got to upstage Bane as the villain in the very last 30 minutes. Bane was the big baddie that we were meant to be afraid of and then this woman who's been operating all his schemes in the shadows all the time comes out to take his place. It left Bane with a weak hit-or-miss death scene and ditched any powerful climatic face-off with him for a cheesy chase scene on her that ends in another weak death for herself.
