Yeah, but if SG was a pizza it would be smothered in cheese. It would be piled high with every kind of cheese imaginable. You know all the cheese that wasn't in the Monty Python cheese shop? It's all on the SG pizza.
Even Venezuelan Beaver Cheese, and that doesn't even exist. -

Ohh please. Tbh i tuned in for the Superman episodes and as soon as I saw the Metallo fight i died of cringe and was reborn as a person with lactose intolerance and hence was turned off by the cheese. Huge fan of the guy who played Superman and even like Benoist as Supergirl but the show overall sucks a$$
Batman is who I am, Superman is who I want to be!

I agree that it is pretty bad. I havent read comics but i do know that Superman/girl and villains that use kryptonite dont mix. I expected them to defeat the Metallos with the anti-kryptonite protection gear [which made a lot of sense since we saw these devices effectively used last season] but they wasted time, got the devices ruined and all this to forcibly show the team ups. And the Kara/Alex team up was lame. The gear Alex used gives strength but it doesnt offer endurance and protection. It would have been far better if they had her use a weapon from distance [like a modified sniper rifle to severly injure Metallo]. But instead we had the so called cheese. And while the latest episode was better than the others of the season it still had a lot of plot holes [example: The villain withstood hits from Supergirl but at the end gets KOed by a human wielding a pipe]. So i dont believe the problem is with the actors/actresses. The problem lies with the writting of the show which is full of cheese and not in a good way. Star Trek the original series has cheese as well but it is a million times better than what we see in Supergirl.

Not all shows are written for guys. You get He-Man and the gals get She-ra.
But the producers better watch it. The trick is to give each gender just enough to keep them tuned in. I watched the last episode and it looks like they aren't trying very hard to appeal to the boy viewers.
Mon-el is from the "sister-planet" Daxam, a bad boy from the "party-planet", who doesn't' like "snobby" Kryptonians like Kara?
(all they needed was her mother hologram to tell her to "stay away from that dangerous Daxam boy".)
