I just watched some old scenes from WW and no her acting was much better back then. Not sure why they had her acting be so wooden and cheesy. Perhaps she doesn't have that ability anymore, who knows.. but her naturalistic acting is certainly not what it used to be.

i agree her voice was definitely higher pitched than it ever has been before. her acting did seem strange as well. maybe it's intentional since her character is an alien? maybe Lynda was directed to act off/strange.

I recall some years ago while she was doing Wonder Woman (I was a huge fan as a kid and whenever Lynda was on TV, I would try to watch her), she did an interview on Dinah Shore or Merv Griffin, and I vaguely remember she had some issues with her speech or jaw that gave her problems. If you even watch her on WW, you'll notice how she tightens her lips or jaw when she's talking.
Maybe now since she's older it's a little tougher for her to talk normally.
Again, this is what I recall. -

30 years worth of aging damage to her vocal chords. To me it looked and sounded like politicians when they are trying to talk slowly, clearly, almost poetic, and very loud. they only showed us a couple of people, but they may have been trying to act like it was an enormous crowd listening to her.
