Make up a power

The worst power I can think of to have is the ability to purify water! Just imagine the people who would want to use you, forcing you to drink their toilet water and then pee out fresh water!
I am not a fan. I just happen to enjoy movies. Fans are embarrassing.

Here are some powers I came up with.. some I sort of stole and modified from past mutants and other movies but still
- Stitch: if you ever watched push these are the guys that can heal people. But the scene I remember of a woman healing one of the characters was truly nasty and painful in a sense. But I would extend this power and give the ability to also absorb someones life force a la rogue. Instead they can control if they want to absorb someones life force or not. They can use the life force to also help heal others faster but they are deadly of course be cause they can absorb u til death. Also ill give these guys fast healing ability as well a la wolverines power but only based on how much life force they have absorbed from people around them.
- Ghost: pretty much a person who is alive but can become invisible, phase through places, pretty much like a ghost. Dunno just think its cool.
- Morgan: the latest movie 'Morgan' helped choose this name. Im thinking of another telepath power because I love these kinds of mutants. This type of mutant doesnt only limit to what you are thinking but also to how you feel. And because of this she can tell if you are lying.. if you are angry.. or if you are scared. She can amplify this feeling and even make you feel pain if she wanted - so yes im stealing this from that woman in twilight but I think its cool.
Cant think of any right now.. but ill eventually think of more

Most powers are variations of maybe 3 powers: physical enhancement, energy discharge and mental. Jubilee has the same power as Pyro. Same as Gambit having the same power as Jubilee. It's all about placement and putting in breaks.
At this point it's friggin hard to make up a new power. I'd say a sphere of influence that allows you to give others (including yourself) powers. For yourself it could be either random or your choice. For others they'll have that same power. Like having a mutant manifest. Downside is you getting knocked out and they lose that power, or they go crazy thinking the power is in them or wanting you to give the power to them all the time. The villain version would be that you get stronger the more people you have in your circle. Think Apocalypse, but the Horsemen grow to being a nation and he has all these extra powers.

How about this; the ability to change the elements around you from their gaseous to liquid to solid states at will (upon conscious concentration).
You could turn the air into a staircase, or turn a gun pointed at you into liquid, or evaporate a locked door! You could move heavy objects with ease by turning them gaseous and floating them to a place and then reconstituting them. You could even save an ally by turning them gaseous when they're about to be shot, or stop a wave from crashing down upon you by turning it solid. In short, it's a versatile ability, I think the user wouldn't be able to use it on their own body though, not and be able to transmute back.
You could make it a heating and cooling power, or simply an inexplicable mutation of matter. I think it would be a neat ability.
