      Christopher Reeve did it in Superman the Movie, but while Tom's was ascending out of the Fortress, Reeve's was descending out of the Daily Planet.

        Ah that, except Reeve's suit just faded in while Tom had the suit in his hand and pulled it over his shoulder.
