Lucifers not your "typical patient" and I wonder if Dr Linda will be concerned, that he's a threat to Chloe and Trixie. In the trailer she looks very frightened and distraught and asks Maze "how can we be friends" so she is not is disassociating anymore. It's exciting times ahead and I would like to know the name of the song playing. Keeps getting better each week and I'm dreading the hiatus.
imperfection is an altogether attainable human goal, and love is acceptance of imperfections. -

Yeah, it's interesting. To me, Linda looks like she's having her own existential crisis by the time she sees Maze. She says, "he's the devil, how can we be friends?". That implies she's worried about the theological and moral aspects of associating with the devil, not just the supernaturally related, world-view shock she's had courtesy of her patient. We don't know if Linda is a believer or not. If she is, or even if she's an atheist, this knowledge would most likely cause more than just a fear reaction. It would make her question her entire belief system. Especially if she's a believer, trying to sort it all out would be a challenge, especially for someone like her, who's clearly empathetic and whose mission in life is to help people. If she's a believer, perhaps she'll decide that helping the devil is actually the Christian thing to do.
One way or another, she'll remember the man she's been treating, all of his vulnerabilities and non-evil traits and she'll get over it.

Her totally catatonic state at the end was amazing. That's one of the reasons I love this show so much - its not just some one dimensional drivel, there is depth and substance. It reaches into your gut and your heart. The actors, the writers, the directors everything and everyone is top notch.

I love that too. I'm trying to think of any other supernatural type show that's actually brought me to tears. So far, nada. And there've been quite a few I've really loved. This show performs on a whole different level.

Monster episode sucked ass.The only two good
moments
were when Lucifer and Maze show their cool CGI face. The rest of the episode was pure trash and garbage writing.
Cmon people it ain't hard to see through this beep writing. -

That's a strong opinion you have there and one which you're entitled to. However, I still found it mildly entertaining watching a great deity have some kind of existential crisis and the destroyer basically going all self-destructive.
We don't all need to see what you see and vice versa. If we did, then we'd only have to watch one movie, listen to one band and read one book. What a dull world that would be.They died because it's in the script, now shut up.
