Do you guys think they will turn the X-MEN into Inhumans? Or make Inhumans and Mutants one and the same?

as long as downey is playing stark I don't think X-Men can work In MCU.
I give russio brothers a lot of credit they actully made downey actully act again In Civil war instead of coasting on his smarl alecy act.civil war best film with him since first Iron Man.
the tone of X-Men has always been problem.mutants are hated and feared by public.now civil war opened a small door for X-Men poentialy to work In MCU but X-men at core is team swon to protect a world that hates and fears them.
I always thought it would require full scale reboot of both MCU and X-men to have X-men In MCU.
Could you have a case where legion caused "reboot" of mutants Into MCU replacing inhumans?
sure.remember legion created age of apocalypse too. -

There really aren't that many actually superpowered beings in the MCU, most are just humans. The ones with genuine superpowers like Hulk and Wanda ARE feared.
So why can't the X-Men exist in that world? -

Yeah, this could be a sign that Marvel and Fox's tensions are cooling down and the deal is happening since Marvel appears to have a lot of renewed interest in putting the X-Men in other media like comics and video games.

The X-MEN don't have a revert, just a Sony type deal will do, I'm just curious how they will be integrated in the MCU, Whether they will just be Inhumans affected by a Virus that turned them into Mutants, similar to how the X-Gene was a Virus in the Ultimate Comics, or
Will they just do the whole Human Evolution thing. The Inhumans affected by an X-Gene virus will be simpler, as then you don't have to bother explaining where the mutants have been, they just are an off-shoot of Inhumans who are confirmed to exist in the MCU.
The Inhumans that were effected by the X-Gene Virus could have been exiled to Genosha because they gave birth to powered people, unlike the regular Inhumans who gained their powers through Terrigenesis, these kids were born with their powers, some probably escaped Genosha to live normal lives, some descendants of these X-Gene virus infected Inhumans might simply be powerless, which is why you have parents that are perfectly normal, which have mutant children, similar to Inhumans how some of their descendants were powerless, and may not know of their heritage, but when they go through the mist they become Enhanced people.

If they do revert back to Marvel, I imagine the transition would be awkward. The brewing social tensions over their existence have to have a background, and there's been no sign of them in the MCU yet. I would hate to have mutants suddenly pop out of nowhere.

Well the social tension could come from Magneto's emergance in the public eye and a big disasterous event like a mass escape of mutants from Genosha that causes people to hate the X-Men, and mutants as a whole.
They can also play off of the Inhuman tension of Agents of SHIELD, and have that become naturally powered people.
Mutants wouldn't be popping out of nowhere, they just simply would have something relevant to expose them to the world.

OR
They could just have the Mutant stuff be more like real actual racism and not the over-the-top hatred of the Singer movies. Bother showing the normal Human side of the equation and explain why it's believable people would be afraid. -

I have a feeling that Fox is going to ring up Kevin Feige the following week after Spider-Man: Homecoming's opening BO take is more than the last 3 X-Men's total BO take was altogether and say to Feige on the phone: "Let's bring the mutants into the MCU."
