You know how sometimes you havent had something in a while eg. a certain food say chips, once youve had the first chip you cant stop. You go on a binge but then it passes. It's kinda like that.
Also Olicity really isnt that special, rather vanilla actually.
Do you mind if I have a piece of your thigh? It would complement this fine '76 chiraz -

That was enough to scare everyone away from this board and the show LMAO
By the way, like I stated earlier I'm here just for the cross over and I'm gonehaven't been really watching the show since mid season 3 so I don't care anymore. I, enjoying Flash and supergirl for now.until they manage to ruin them too. -

I love Felicity (one of the few I guess) and Olicity, but I did read that they have no intention of putting them back together at least for season 5. Who knows what is in the works for season 6 if there is one. I do hope whenever that is, they are endgame

My hunch is that the current "no-Olicity" narrative is a bit of a sham, or at least a bait, intended to lure those who would prefer to never see Oliver and Felicity together again. To me the current writing is an attempt to appease those who want Olicity gone, while still dangling the Olicity carrot in front of the shippers' noses.
Well if its bait, the joke is on them, seeing clearly how it did not work
. People who left last season didnt return, the ratings are at an all time low
.
In fact, as things are now, it's as if he barely exists, to us or to Felicity. Also, if the writers/producers intended this relationship to last and replace Olicity, they would have picked a really handsome hunk to portray Felicity's new BF, rather than the nice-looking, but rather non-descript Tyler Ritter.
I think TR is rather handsome, if they write him fairly and dont sabotage his character he could be a serious contender. Sure he is not Mr Barbie like Stephen but he might make up for it in other ways, Oliver isnt anywhere close to Prince Charming. But so far Malone has been shortchanged, if they have to do that to other characters/relationships, that reflects even more poorly on Oli$hity. Its like what they did with Laurel, they thought they were screwing a fictional character over but actually they were screwing over their own show. All characters in a story matter to produce a good show.
If you bring new characters only so you can screw them over to prop a problematic ship , then they are only killing their show and they are stupid. New characters/stories are show assets, they are supposed to add something to a show/characters and help reboot a season. Also a season need to have a well planned & cohesive story, not be bait and switch to appease to shippers/non shippers. Is Olicity worth all this harm they are causing to their own show.so dumb. Its their own funeral. -

So, here's a review that includes excerpts from an interview with Marc:

It seems they are trying to rebuild Olicity. Most of the review focuses on Oliver growing and changing to become "the man Felicity wants and needs." Only once does the blog indicate that Felicity has "an imperfection", which is "Felicity runs when she feels abandoned." For the most part, the onus of change is on Oliver.
IMO, "Arrow" is trying to make us fall in love with the show and Felicity again. Hence, the return to s1/s2 action and snarky Felicity. It's still early days, but I'd still like to hear that Felicity changes as well because she, too, needs growth.
