Most people have never heard of WW.
    You're contradicting yourself.

      Where?
I am listing a proof from personal experience that no matter where you go people know who Superman is, so it stands to reason that most people know Superman, while at the same time people outside of our high-tech bubble did not heard about WW.

"No matter where you go" based entirely on visiting a tiny hamlet in Russia.
I personally have never met anyone who doesn't know the character. But as evidence, I work with people in Europe, especially France and as conversation, I often talk about the movie. People there generally know the character.

I think it is far better proof than let's sayFrance which shared plenty of cultural trends with USA. They have internet access, tv's and are as much a part of pop culture as any city in USA

So basically any place that has internet access and TV's knows about Wonder Woman.

Do you claim that WW is recognised in the same degree as Superman? Because his sign is one of the most recognisable symbols on the planet.

Do you have any evidence of that? You really need to back up what you say.

I also remembered reading article about Superman logo being as recognizable as a cross but cannot give link right now

And personally, my perception (that is that there is here) is that no, WW's symbol isn't as recognized, but her symbol has changed over the years to a greater extent than Superman's.
Furthermore, don't forget that this started with your claim that "most people don't know Wonder Woman," which absolute BS.

Compared to Superman of course! I am not saying that she is some kind of 3 league character, but compared to Superman who is almost universally known she is not.

                            Back up a moment.
You also initially said that Batman and Spiderman were in Superman's league, but you have no evidence of that.
Please also note my comment that WW's logo has changed over the years.

And you are out of your mind. Most people don't know or care about Scott Lang.
Everyone knows Wonder Woman except children that barely know their own name.
People may not list her as their top favorite character, but they certainly know who she is.

WW has always been a hopeful superhero, and an icon of strength for women. Apart from some Frank Miller douchebaggery, her stories are optimistic. Patty Jenkins is probably going to portray her in an optimistic way. In this day and age, cinema influence people a lot. Superman is the pioneer of hope, and we get to see a depressing sob instead, thanks to Snyder. So, WW might as well be the most powerful one for now. Then again, The "S" shield is the most recognized symbol in the world, along with the Cross.
How the name, "Martha" brought out the real Batman

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.
