Hes super! But how else to depict him as relatable when he is undefetable?

How about actually reading what someone is saying to you? The nuke was not Kryptonite.
"Need" is just a fiction. As is "should", "must", "value" and "importance".

Was it ever explained how Joker managed to mess with Superman's head to trick him into killing a pregnant Lois in the Injustice universe? If Joker had access to stuff without kryptonite to do it I don't see why Scarecrow's stuff couldn't effect Superman.

In the first issue of the tie-in Joker and Scarecrow mixed Kryptonite stolen from Star Labs with Scarecrow's toxin, which Superman then inhaled.
