yeah that is the idea Clark is meant to look like average joe, and he plays it up by being clumsy, he is a guy you would not look at twice! Which is why when he is in a suit nobody would ever thought "Hmmremember this bumbling guy from the office? He kind of look like nahimpossible"

You're right! They should have cast the guy playing James as superman instead so this can all make more sense because we all know height is important.
