I love the actor.
I like the villain.
But the transition from Cottonmouth to Diamond was jarring.
I also had a problem with Daredevil season two going from the Punisher to zombie ninjas.

He had a few very good scenes. I liked the scenes where he was in full control because the actor sold that part very well. Then you had the bad stuff, poor writing etc. It was awful to see them destroy him piece by piece. Shades was probably the best character beside Luke in the show. He was the most "realistic" character on the show. It was nice having him around Cottonmouth and Diamondback.

I just didn't like Diamondback's reasoning. He had no reason to mess with Luke as much as he did. Which then made the guy come across as mentally deranged lol.
I preferred Cotton Mouth and cannot believe they killed him in such a pathetic and tragic way.
