[Note: no spoilers past EP6 please]
Just curious, never having been to the NYC area: how close are these two nabes from each other?

Cool, thanks. So now I better understand the well-wishes from "below 110th", heard on Trish Talk (friend of JJ) on one of the LC episodes.

I didn't realize they were that close. These street level superheroes seem very territorial about the turf they patrol. Daredevil's work doesn't seem to spill over into Harlem, and Luke Cage into Hell's Kitchen despite being virtually the same place, give or take a couple or so miles.

Yeah there's one storyline in the comics where Daredevil beats up Kingpin, crowns himself the new Kingpin of crime, and he kicks all the criminals out of Hell's Kitchen. He sits around patting himself on the back.
Then later he's confronted in the park by Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and Spiderman, who are pissed that Daredevil's criminals didn't really disappear. They just walked a few miles and invaded THEIR neighborhoods.

Yeah pretty much. This was during the Brian Michael Bendis storyline of the early 2000's. If I recall correctly, his reign as Kingpin of Crime ends when
the feds send Daredevil to prison.

We walked the distance in about an hour. You really can't tell too much of a difference in the daytime.

And I'm guessing there's a bus line or two going right down the line

Yes, there's several subway lines and buses running from uptown (Harlem) to midtown (Hell's Kitchen). Ugh that's a walk over forty blocks and NYC blocks are rather long. A good hour to hour and half walk only 20 minutes on train.

Well, from Harlem, you take the 4 or 5 train from 125th Street three express stops south to Grand Central - 42nd Street, then hop on the 7 train over to Times Square, then walk north on Broadway to about 50th Street, and you're there.
