My faith in Marvel is fading fast. I'm definitely going to give this show a go, but the trailer doesn't really make me WANT to watch it.
Daredevil was awesome, Jessica Jones was rad, Luke Cage in Jessica Jones was awesome but the Luke Cage series hasn't got me hooked and the trailer for Iron Fist looks terrible. Just my opinion but. -

Finn Jones as Iron Fist looks like a homeless Justin Timberlake. I think everyone has been perfectly cast so far, except Iron Fist. Maybe I'm looking too far into it or maybe I'm just getting over Marvel. Like I said, just my opinion though. I can see why people might like this, I just dont think it has done Iron Fist justice. I obviously haven't seen the whole show, this is just based off the trailer. The show could be kickass, I'm just not sold on what we've seen in the trailer.

I don't like his look, but it is purely an aesthetics thing - nothing against the actor. If he shaved his beard and trimmed his hair I wouldn't have a problem with him. There were a few other actors I thought would have been a better fit for Danny, but they too would have lacked high-level martial arts training to perform without the need of a stunt-double, and as I've said in another thread on this board I think the longer hair and beard are to give the stunt-double something to hide his face behind.
As for the trailer, I thought it looked great. I'm really pumped for this series, having dreamed of seeing a live-action Iron Fist for about thirty years, and now it's happening! Great time to be an Iron Fist fan. -

The beard is throwing me off too.
I thought part of why Finn was chosen was for his innocent boyish looks but the facial hair completely cancels that.
I'll get uses to it but it's noticeable.
Ironic as his brother Luke looks better with a fuller beard.
