It might just be me but the whole time I'm just feeling sorry for him taking loss after loss to Cage.. it's like the guy can't catch a break!! Finally got a tiny bit of bogus leverage but he couldn't even hold onto that for long!! Lol

I kind of did. Cottonmouth was great, and even though he was a bad guy he was so charismatic in that role you couldn't help but like him. I wish they didnt kill him off he was far more entertaining than diamondback imho.
Cottonmouth was a straight up G lol

Yeah. I was hoping he'd catch a break. Cage kept busting up his operation. I liked that Cottonmouth was multifaceted. And it was nice seeing both him and Cage grieving over Pops. You don't usual get that with the main protagonist and main antagonist unless a girl is involved.

We do get to see that he was more pushed into this role and that if his artistic side was nurtured he would be doing something different.
We also see that he regrets that Pops was killed and that deep down would like to see his community get better.
Ultimately he is responsible for his actions, and what happens to him in the end is the result of his life's action.

Yes and no. My sympathy for what he went through as a kid is lessened by the fact that he has no compassion for anyone as an adult. Having a beep upbringing isn't an excuse to be a criminal.
