Why did they make a movie about Spiderman, a bunch of movies about Superman, and then Batman too, and then the stupid boring X-Men who have no charisma, but they never made a movie about the SuperFriends, a team of legendary super heros. I don't get it. There is so much potential in such a movie, so much that can be done with a team of super heros.
The characters on X Men and Fantastic Four were boring and uninspiring. Yet movies were made about them but not the SuperFriends? I don't get it.

Groups of that size are hard to balance in a two hour movie. It's not for lack of trying. The letter pages of the JLA comics of the 70's used to feature all kinds of casting suggestions, usually whoever was hot at the moment. Some of the ones I can recal were Nick Nolte (!) as Aquaman, Cheryl Ladd as Black Canary, Lee Majors (!!!) as the Flash and various others. Peter Lupus was suggested as Superman, based on armed forces recruiting ads he did as the character. Once Christopher Reeve was cast as Superman, he was the favorite, as was Lynda Carte for WW. Adam West, amazingly, was usually the choice for Batman, despite the camp.

Considering it was the 70s and only a few years removed from the tv series which was responsible for a lot of Batman's popularity, it's not really that surprising. Plus this is before Batman went grimdark.

There is a PG-13 animated Justice League movie called Justice League: The New Frontier.

Micheal Bay could direct a Super Friends movie. It wouldn't matter if he took this movie seriously or not. It would still wind up being even dumber than the cartoon.

Not quite the same thing. That was a direct to video feature, adapting DC: The New frontier. It's not really even a Justice League story; rather, it is a story set at the onset of the Silver Age, which brings the various heroes together, to set up their eventual formation of the Justice League.

Yes! The Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal would definitely be used as the Hall of Justice.
