I agree. Time travel is really difficult to do correctly and this show doesn't even bother to try. For example, there's no need for Barry to take Reverse Flash back with him to kill his mom. It's not difficult to understand that Barry SHOULD just go back and stop himself from intervening, but the show never even throws a lame excuse out as to why they can't do that.
They are supposed to be intelligent characters, it's incredibly frustrating to watch when the writers ignore the obvious

I thought he needed the Reverse Flash to go with him because he was losing his powers and could no longer travel in time on his own?
What the hell is a Stiles?

He did need him in that moment which didn't make sense to me. Using his powers made him lose his memories. When did it start making him so weak he could barely walk?

I think they need to stop doing time travel stuff after this episode. Legends of Crossover can take care of all that crap.

It seemed to me that Barry was in bad shape and perhaps incapacitated from the timeline changes affecting him. He needed Eobard to get back in time. Eobard wasn't likely to go back and not actually do something. Of course, it would make sense if they just had Barry stop himself from intervening. But, perhaps that slight change where Nora is saved, watches Barry and Eobard disappear and is then killed again, is part of a reason there are other changes that will affect them even after he "set things right."

That I will never understand. The time line was changed when RF killed his mom, so that isnt the right time line.

Didn't make sense to me either, he was losing his memory not power
