- DD Season 1
it was new, refreshing, and hit all the right marks for a deep and terrifying storyline - Jessica Jones
not as action packed, it brought a lot of intense and emotional story telling, and some amazing displays of drug addiction, repressed memories, and coping with rape. The Womans power thing kind of became a little too much half way in the show but it corrects itself by actually letting the women stand up for themselves by themselves without making it super awkward and Killgrave came out looking like a super massive threat. - Luke Cage
The action is certainly not as well choreographed as DD, it is still a nice touch for the super powered vigilante. What falls short for this show is how Luke Cage is set up as a secondary character rather than the central character like DD and JJ are portrayed as.
There's a little too much emphasis on the antagonist(which I don't mind too much because they are great) and too much discussion on black pride and Friday style humor. The show for me began to fall apart half way through the season. It became too cheesy for me. - DD Season 2
A great start, a very deep drop half way in, but the ending made up for it. Like Luke Cage, there was more emphasis on telling the other characters stories more so than DD's, and just when their stories get interesting, there's an immediate stop to remind us that yes, DD is in the show.
Adding the Punisher really helped the show stand out, but when he was left helpless the show took a dive.
The problems with LC and DD2 is the pacing. DD2's pacing is definitely worse(IMO) than LC's.
