but this really made me snore.
On top of that it was more soap than anything. The show coulda been done in episode 2 if he'd just beaten up the "super" villains instead of just the poor foot soldiers. Instead he consciously left them to fight again. Wouldn't you at give someone who tried to blow you up with a missile at least a couple of slaps.
On a par with DD season 2 post-punisher episodes I reckon. Saving grace was Misty who I could watch all day.

I agree. The acting is great and all, but the characters aren't just that interesting to follow for 13 episodes.

I checked this out because I am a big fan of Jessica Jones. But it is such a snoozer. JJ immediately drops you into a world that's like a modern film noir. The superhero aspects are secondary which is probably why I liked it. Plus Luke and Jessica had amazing chemistry. I just can't spend any more time on LC. I've got a ton of new dramas that I enjoyed from the get go plus Longmire has returned.
        That is so Haven!

Luke Cage and Jessica Jones have the same problem. They crammed 6 to 8 episodes worth of story into a 13 episode season. I really wish the MCU Netflix series would have a lower episode count per season; it would make the shows infinitely better. Though in fairness, DD justifies the episode count fairy well, which is why most viewers think more of that series than the other two.
