The scenes you're talking about help those who had problems with the movie not really making sense due to the abrupt transitions from scene to scene. However, there also are additional scenes that DO help with the characters. For instance, Clark going to investigate Batman in Gotham makes his character more competent, that he actually gives a beep Now, you get why he tells Batman to beep off in that Batmobile scene. It also makes you understand why he fights Batman in the first place because when interviews that lady she says "Words don't stop him, fists do". There are also additional moments with Alfred and Perry which make their characters likeable.
Stuff like this adds REASON and MOTIVATION to the characters decisions in the film, which the lack of was one of my and many others' biggest problems with the movie.

How does it add reason and motivation when none of this information is transmitted to the other flippin' characters?!

Don't know why I added that 'Stu' there lmao.
Well what do you mean by other characters? I'm saying it only helps Superman, Perry, Alfred, and a little bit of Batman's character (Although he was already fine I'd argue).

Dude, none if it effects the story AT ALL. Nobody communicates this sh!t to anyone else. What part of that is your fanboy skull not materializing?
I'll agree with you that the correction if the flow helps Superman's character
          a little
. But the problem is that he's a hero in one scene and in the next he's sad panda. Mopey fvcking retard. WHERE THE HELL IS SUPERMAN IN ALL THIS?

The UC just plays out better and is a more fleshed out and understandable film. If you cant seen that then fair enough, hey, go watch something else. But personally I thought a line here and a scene here made it a much stronger film.
Well, sure it does even things out a bit. That's true. But all the problems are still there, the UC does nothing to fix depressing mopey Superman or gloating murderer Batman. If anything it fleshes out Lois Lane the most. I can dig that, but it doesn't fix anything in the movie other than the way it flows (Which is a big improvement).
The movie has "teenage wrist-cutter" written all over it. It's dour and gloomy, where everyone is miserable all the time. Not what i want in my Superhero movies!

On the whole Civil War thing. I like Marvel films but that one was sheer pants. I think people just like suckling on the teet of Marvel/Disney movies so much they cant see a turkey when they see one. I read a lot online about people preferring CW but I haven't met one in person. Everyone I know who has seen Deadpool, BvS, CW and X-Ap. All say they pretty much decline in quality in the order they were released.
Heres hoping Suicide Squad breaks the trend.
That is your opinion and Civil War was better in every aspect to BvS and no we are not "sucking Marvel's teet" we just know good movies.

They go toward making Clark more likable, but that's about it.

They succeed in one thing, making those gullible enough to think it might be a better film to waste three whole hours of their life more on bad cinema.
                    Mission accomplished WB.

Biggest different between MCU and DCEU are the studios
WB is #1 on my hate list.
what happened to Suicide Squad would never happen in MCUat least sat this point in time
Zack had to edit the movies as they wantedit was releasedgot a lot of hate so they thought "Lets release extended version, perhaps Zack was right!"
What happened to Suicide Squad is horrendous and my biggest movie shock of 2016
