Superman Brainiac in 2006 was the worse DC film by far followed by; Superman: Doomsday and Justice League: Doom as the worse animated movies.
Batman: Gotham Knight is more of a collection of tales of people's perceptions of Batman and how a young Bruce Wayne overtime while training and struggling to deal with his pain issues (learning to forgo pain through metal discipline) became him in one story. Gotham Knight is far from being the worse DC/Warners film.
WB needs to get Paul Dini and Bruce Timm back.
Or simply learn to output better work without them being around to rely on too much!
As always relying on them alone to deliver leads to equally bad films possibly. Bruce Timm has way too much Batman bias to put out quality DC related films which don't have Batman featured in them (he disrespectfully downgrades Superman way too much in favor of Batman). And Paul Dini does story concepts well enough (akin to David Goyer) but isn't as great a writer with actual scriptwriting duties as fans make him out to be always.
Dini also being a workaholic stretches his talents flat sometimes and he doesn't always work to his absolute best if he's not had more time fleshing out the plot details for animated films.

I would say that JL: Doom is better than JL: War. At least the heroes were likable and actually seemed like heroes. This movie was just mindless action, no heart, character development, and more than half the team acted like a-holes. Really, none of the JL movies are that great since they're inferior to the cartoon series IMO. Obviously the movies look better, but the show is better in every other regard to me, which always make me wonder, why doesn't DC have more shows on right now, but I guess that's a different conversation.

agreed, but i would also say that jla: war was actually worse than doom because the characters in the main did not have any depth at all, except for when they were being obnoxious (which is not very appealing to watch).
when you compare the darkseid of superman tas, jl, jlu and jl:apocalypse, it becomes really apparent how rubbish this animation was. i do not get the 7.4 rating at all.
before we get started, does anyone want to get out?
