I appreciate female and male beauty. There's so much female beauty in these films, I actually think they could have benefitted from a few more hot men, apart from Clooney, Kilmer and O'Donnell. I also think Andrew Bryniarski was quite handsome as Chip in a big blond hunky meathead kind of way.
But I do think the films should have found a place for Brad Pitt somewhere.

That's true.
Still, I can't deny that the Burton/Schumacher Batman films feature some very good-looking people. And as comic-book movies, shouldn't the cast be better-looking than normal people?

To me the suiting up butt shots seemed to be too much making fun of the character, especially unfitting as the character is supposed to be at least somewhat intimidating. But I didn't have an issue with Batman's sculpted chest in any of the movies, to me they really fit the character though some thought it made him look sexy.
I thought Poison Ivy and certainly before her Catwoman and later in X-Men Mystique were sexy while still being intimidating characters and their looks didn't seem to be gratuitous or making fun of the characters. Edit: Although X-Men could have been more interesting and felt more equitable if Toad and/or Sabretooth were also more scantily clad or naked. -

I know you're being humorous, but Toad is meant to be very as ugly as sin, and Sabretooth is a savage beast (although some women and gay men might admittedly find that attractive).
