Um.. have you kept up with Red Hood? All of what you just said isn't true anymore about Starfire. They went that way for the first couple of issues until the writers got some backlash from fans. She has a perfect memory of Dick and even had his old uniform. As for other Titans, she didn't have a memory of them because that group never existed in this continuity. That much has been made clear. She also doesn't "screw anyone she sees." She has had a relationship with Roy since almost the beginning of the series.

Oh really they fixed Starfire due to fan backlash that is awesome. To bad the DC editors were perfectly fine with making her into a soulless sex robot in the first place that there even needed to be a fan backlash that speaks about how the editors want DC to be now. Not only things like that though Dan DiDio the co-publisher of DC has basically put a ban on weddings nullifying all but one marriage in DC Animal Man because his wife and family are so integral to his story you can't get rid of them. What is funny with that is no one gave the message to Geoff Johns who was writing Aquaman because he was clearly writing Aquaman and Mera, one of DC longest marriages, as married but now it is official they are not married. It is like Dan DiDio read One More Day from Spider-Man and thought getting rid of marriage was the greatest thing ever.
P.S. I don't buy comics anymore I don't have the money to buy them. Currently I am unemployed and even if I was employed I have more important things to spend my money on but I use to buy tons of comics buying anywhere from 15-20 titles monthly not including events or one shot stories.

Agree with most but didn't Shazam always have lighting powers?

No. Shazam (The Wizard) used lightning, but Captain Marvel didn't control the Lightning.

"Shazam is a comic book character created by Bill Parker and C. C. Beck for Fawcett Comics. He is an ancient wizard (Whiz Comics #2 gives his age as 3,000 years) who gives young Billy Batson the power to transform into the superhero Captain Marvel. Because DC Comics has billed Captain Marvel's adventures under the name Shazam! since 1973, the superhero is often mistakenly referred to by his mentor's name. Because of this, in 2012, DC officially changed Captain Marvel's name to Shazam." - wiki
              http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shazam_(character)
How do they deleted Shazam (the wizard)?
How do you change the name of a top 50 comic character?
They say they did this because some people that didn't read the comics got confused, but now instead made the fans confused and ultimately angry.

Yeah your right green lantern is weak moron he throw a train but is knocked back by it colliding with something? Also when trying to figure out what the box thing is it might be a bomb but his first thought is let's smash it!
Wonder woman is spazing out over ice cream and swinging her sword at average people like an idiot.
Cyborg throws a fit because of a football game and decides to pull apart a large glowing generater thing. I thought he was half man half machine, not a sissy.
To be fair the team up boss fight with darkseid. Was pretty cool. It showed how powerful darkseid really is and why the Justice league is really needed to fight battles that none of the members can win on there own.I also liked how big darkseid was in this movie, it made him a lot scarier than he ever was on any of the TV series'.
I was disappointed on how much they nerfed captain marvel.
                can you imagine?
an imaginary menagerie manager imagining managing an imaginary? menagerie

I think that was their poor attempt to characterize her like Thor, but instead of humorous (i.e. where Thor asks for another drink and smashes the cup on the ground) it was overdone.

Actually, I liked First Flight and I don't include Gotham Knight or Emerald Knights in the DC movie group for some reason.
The two I didn't like were Justice League New Frontier and All Star Superman.
JLA: War will fall into a new group of "Knock off JLA"

I wouldn't judge the entire New 52 based on this. It's not exactly accurate to the comic it's based on, I don't think.

I agree that the characters and their relationships in New 52 are not as deep nor as interesting as what we've seen in the modern pre-52 comics and the JL/JLU animated series. I especially hate what they've done to Hal Jordan (even though Justin Kirk is so talented that he managed to get laughs with a version of Hal that is antithetical to the classic character).
I saw War last night and the director described it as a "popcorn movie," which I think is the best way to put the latest DC animated film in perspective. Unfortunately, War comes on the heels of JL: Flashpoint Paradox, which is arguably the best animated DC film yet.
If you compare War to the "Secret Origins" arc of Justice League (2001), it doesn't shine. Both are invasion/origin stories, but JL (2001) has the unmatchable voice cast and clean, dynamic animation. In contrast, War feels like the bastardized reboot that came too soon, missing most of the soul and trading deep characters for style and action; it's the popcorn flick version.
Even if you don't like the reimagined characters, War has its moments and a surprising amount of comedy, but the animation is uneven. Sometimes Superman's head is a pumpkin, sometimes it looks more anime influenced, and sometimes he just looks like Steve Carrell.
From the Q&A that followed the film, the team revealed that this New 52 series will continue on the animated side and expand into its own continuity. Personally, I would rather see new continuity develop on the TV side and use the animated films to tell one-off and alternate reality stories (like Elseworlds).
In closing and only slightly related: WB/DCU deliver on roughly one out of of every four of these films, and it's a terrible shame that WB cancelled Young Justice, which was excellent in all regards.

Completely agree OP. I can point a couple of fingers, preferably the middle ones, to a select few in DC whom made these changes. They need to be removed/fired so DC can get back to making respectable characters with virtues.
For DC animations, I haven't like any of them since "Justice League Unlimited" ended. The quality of writing and artistic style just aren't there anymore.

                                    I agree as well.
In this movie, Green Lantern is an arrogant hothead who doesn't come off as intelligent.
Flash isn't his usual wise-cracking, flippant self. He's one of the more mature superheroes.
Wonder Woman is a corny, fish-out-of-water character.
Shazam is no longer a boy scout but a selfish brat.
Superman and Wonder Woman punching in unison? Lazy animators?
And what is with all the swearing? How necessary was it to the story?
Bottom line is that the script seems as if it was written by teenagers. While not completely horrible, it could have been much, much better.

The new 52 is a silly move by DC to gain new readers and keep the older ones. It just the ultimate version for DC.

I agree with you. Superman is a true hero, but he was nothing more then a meat head here. And Captain Marvel was the nicest person in DC. Once in the comics everyone lost there powers and were freaking out, sans Billy. He kept trying to help people as Billy Batson, and no way would he steal from a guy he looked up to .
I know I know this is the Nu52, but that doesn't make it feel any better. It is like the 90s all over, when they felt to make a character better they just had to make them jerks .
