I have never watched any of these DC superhero movies mainly because I can't stand the animation, the only animation I find worse is Japanese Anime,, Gawd that stuff is awful.
Do they go with this cheap animation because making it actually look good would be too expensive?,, because they would have to hire good animators and adding detail would just cost to much money to create a universe that actually have the look and feel of the comics/Graphic Novels? -

I get that some people like the TV series artwork, But the comics and Graphic novels are a much more realistic art form and when you look at the cover artwork on the DVD's and then compare it to the actual artwork in the animated movie they look nothing alike.
Te me it is akin to advertising brilliant cover art to get people to think,, wow this could be awesome and then when the move starts the viewer is like?WTF, the animated cover looks awesome but the movie artwork looks NOTHING like it, if the animated artwork is based off of the TV series,, then that is fine,, but then make the animated artwork on the cover of the DVD's look like the artwork of the TV series,,, to me it is just false advertising to put one style of artwork on the DVD cover and a completely different style of artwork for the actual movie. -

Cheap and Uninspired? I think the animation was great. You need to relax before a movie. My I recommend a bong hit of med grade herb, a valium and a shot of at least 80 proof alcohol. I think you would be very relaxed and enjoy the movie much more. You should try it. Good luck.
