The Civil War board is bad in a way I didn't expect, but should have.

It still isnt that bad. I thought when we were all on the Avengers board, it was worse. We had the caterpillar trolls like Pope, Jon Shiggalo and Philip Evans who pretended to like the film just to get personal dirt on everyone on the board and then started to troll with personal attacks.
You on point Phife?- RIP Phife Dog -

I don't think it's been that bad, to be honest. Certainly nothing like the AOU or Ant-Man boards.
There have been the inevitable "why is this film 8.5?", "why do critics like this film?" and the tired "am I the only person who disliked this movie?" threads (That last one I particularly
loathe
), but overall it's been tolerable. I haven't seen anyone brand the film as "disgusting", as they did with AOU. But then again, maybe that's because I have so many of them on 'ignore'

Yeah, my reaction here was that it seemed like so many postersincluding normally sane onesfelt that the point of the film was to take sides, so they're fiercely arguing for their position, overlooking what's really going on in the movie.
People on both sides of this make decisions for reasons that aren't at all logical, that have much more to do with their personal reactions and feelings than with the law or what's right.
Ultimately, "what's right" is up to us as viewers, and I'm perfectly comfortable saying, "Steve did this right, but he really screwed that up." The final fight in the film is a direct result of Cap following Zemo's breadcrumbs and making a VERY BAD ASSUMPTION about what Zemo is up to, which, tracing it back, also leads to the airport battle and ultimately Rhodey's injury.
There's some pretty good discussion going on right now, particularly in a thread called "Falcon deserved it." that I posted. Having seen the film three times, it actually has me primed to see it again. There are clearly layers here.
Copycat trolls always have each others' backs, even if both accounts are the same guy. -

I saw it Saturday & wasn't overly impressed. I prefer both Whedon's efforts to this as well as Winter Soldier.
I don't see how anyone can be on Tony's side.
This isn't Wall Street-this is Hell. We have a little something called integrity-Crowley
