    Did they realise the Joker in TNAS was terrible or was there another reason behind it.

      It wasn't the Joker from TAS. It was a third design. Sort of a hybrid between TAS and TNAS.
      Did they realise the Joker in TNAS was terrible or was there another reason behind it.
      Probably.
