        Thank you! Precisely, destroyed the OP's argument in a single sentence. The ultimate goal was to stop the ArcNet being deployed.
        Plus, this is a comedy, where a fair amount of free reign is allowed so any actual plot holes (of which this isn't one of them) are acceptable
