So many animated films were destroyed when they replaced voice talent with film celebrities. Batman without Kevin Conroy is not Batman. This is the exception. Truly a Batman:TAS and Justice League quality animated film.
I still get chills just thinking about the final pullback from Hades with Ares as his subservient. It started off good to with getting straight to the action and shocking head removal scene. -

Also, despite the fact that Hades is depicted as a bit of jerk to Thrax and treats him as a slave, he actually isn't depicted as a bad guy who wishes ill will onto the world. That's actually a nice touch to this film since many depictions get that wrong. Hades may be a dark god but he's not an evil one. He can be a bit of jerk who "enriches himself with our sighs and our tears" though, at least according to Sophocles.
