this movie wasn't bad at all
i've read the comics and seen (have) the movie, this movie is awesome
i agree with whover said that other peoiple might be bashing it because of what other fans of the comics said, but the fans don't understand that they're not gonna get a perfect movie EVER,and the other people are just stupid and brainless

I liked it when I saw it. It has Sean connery, and half of the characters I knew about. The other half I later found out what books they were from.
I was 13, and it was awesome! Just lots of cool stuff going on. And the climax was great. -

I've never read the comic, but the movie was painful viewing. So uncomfortable it was that in the late part of the film I smiled at the 'nailed' gag that I was so desperate for pain relief besides than turning it off.

FYI: Sean Connery hated making this movie and totally hated the director, and yes, it is indeed the common wisdom that the miserable experience he and the rest of the crew had making this film led to his decision to retire from moviemaking.

Shows what you know
From Connery's IMDB pageyou can look it up yourself if you want
[On The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003)] It was a nightmare. The director should never have been given $185 million.
You can find that quote on this page:
http://www.imdb.com/board/20000125/bio
You can also find on the trivia page for this movie that Connery "had a tense relationship" with the director. And Connery has given many interviews where he condemned this movie and its director.
You can say I'm BSing all you wantthat's not going to make it true. Sorry, bernyc92-1, but it's an established fact that Connery hates this film.

lol, poor Connery. I don't hate the movie, but that said, I am rather (negatively) biased towards it. The reason for that was because my cousin and her friends talked me out of seeing
Pirates of the Caribbean
on the big screen and instead we all saw this one of the worst decisions of my life. -

I'm trying to watch the movie. Got it from netflix, 1st try fell asleep before Connery even said yes to join, 2nd time same thing, 3rd time I am doing other activities to stay up. The movie had potential I have wanted to see it for awhile. But its really whatever.
