Hi everyone
I have read in these posts both good, but mostly bad things regarding this Wonder Woman TV show that even though they did produce the first episode and NBC for whatever reason decided not to air itso I was just wondering HOW some of you were able to see this episode and IF it can still be seen and WHERE I can see itI want the Wonder Woman MOVIE made as much as the rest of youwhen it was decided they were going to make a WW movie I remembered being excited about it and that it was first slated to come out in 2007, then it was pushe to 2009, then 2012 and NOW they don't even have a year they are expecting it to come out, as far as I know they don't have a script, Joss Whedon WAS initially working on it but then quit and most of all they cannot pick the actress who will wear the Wonder Woman suit, hopefully NOT in pants !!!
SO if anyone can let me know where in cyberspace I can watch this Pilot epiode of Wonder Woman TV show I would apprecite it very much !
Thank you for taking the time to read this
Have a great week!

It was campy
To quote a movie that Cary Elwes starred in, "I do not think it means what you think it means."
actually this was like the Wonder Woman version of the Adam West Batman
Actually, the 1970s Lynda Carter series was the Wonder Woman version of the Adam West Batman. WW was supposed to be a "warrior princess," yet the worst she ever did was throw a villain or henchman around. She never even so much as punched anyone. It was always peace, love, forgiveness and understanding, just like the Batman show. That's one strange "warrior" race of Amazons. The magic lasso, a carryover from the comics, was one hell of a deus ex machina that let her get the truth out of anybody without violence, sort of like how the 60s Batman could get out of any jam with his Universal Antidote or any of a zillion things pulled from his utility belt. IRAC was their version of the Bat Computer. Then they would finish each and every single episode with a bad joke and freeze frame on Diana smiling cute for the camera. Now
that
is camp. -

That is what her lasso of
Truth
does. It makes people tell the truth . Heck the person who made wonder women play a key role in making the polygraph test .

And? What's your point? Does that make it any less ridiculous? A lot of stuff done in the comics in the early years was stupid because it was written for children, and most of that has been thrown out in the comics, in the movies or both. Green Lantern can't affect anything yellow. The comics threw that out, calling it a psychological barrier, not an actual one. The GL movie didn't even mention it. Iron Man had
solar-charged
armor. In the real world, even at 100% efficiency, that would take months if not years to build up the power levels he needs for one mission. No longer mentioned in the comics and never in the movies. Does the lasso even have that power in this latest version? It's never mentioned. She never even says she tried to use it on the bald guy but it failed because of the drugs he took. -

She called it the Lasso of Truth, is Iconic and how is it more ridiculous than anything else about WW . Flying an invisible jet , being made from clay , having rights with Circe. Yet having a hard time beating a women with cat powers.
In showI would say a lasso of Truth is more believable, than wonder women breaking law after law .. killing people who were not breaking the law and getting people cheering her for throwing away our system of laws. I mean really wonder woman is allowed to attack a man in a hospital bed.

I torrented it and I am glad I got to see for free man this was Horrendous!!!!!!! The only good thing about it was Addriane Palicki in the suit but even that cant save it!!!! It was far to campy, the acting was horrible, and WW herself was very unlikeable. If it was darker and more serious than maybe I would have given it a chance but dam I am glad this beep did not become a full series!!!!
Lose the Game!!!!!!!
