So much for the Sinestro Corps War storyline beep YOU CARTOON NETWORK. Finally there's reason not to put on Cartoon Network anymore.

The shows didnt even get bad ratings (they were doing better than Dragons: Riders of Berk, a show that CN tried to push so hard).
Fuc you Cartoon Network. You wanted the shows dead. Shame on you executives.
How much longer do I have to wait?

            Good use for dumb-assed execs.
            Torgo's Executive Powder
From The Infosphere, the Futurama Wiki
            Type Powder
            First appearance Bender's Big Score
Current status Probably still widely used
Torgo's Executive Powder is a fine pink powder derived from high-ranking people at various organizations, notably the Box Delivery Network, which canceled the license of Planet Express in 3005. The powder is obtained by first beating said executives to a pulp, then grinding the remains until it resembles a dry powder. Despite general stoicism toward death in the future, even this is apparently seen as an extreme punishment.

Announced through their exclusion on Cartoon Network's "new and returning shows" press release for fall 2013, the series both suffered from broken-up seasons, including a sudden and unexplained pause in the fall of 2012 after only a few episodes of each.
Cartoon Network has nobody, NOBODY to blame but themselves.

Total BS. The only consolation is that Cartoon Network is just reaffirming why dropping it and the rest of my standard cable channels was a very good idea.
The number of TV shows I eagerly anticipate has just dropped back to zero.

I'm disappointed by this news as the show really grew on me, becoming one of my favorite cartoons. Will G:TAS and YJ complete thier episode runs? or has it now been immediately suspeneded?

^ You think they could at least finish what they started (even if they take forever)
And ya had to see it coming. I'm surprised to see this many people upset considering a lot of people passed judgement to early and then abandoned ship
I'm more surprised YJ is going, but I'm pleasantly surprised GL got to last as long as it did.
Remember: CN is more interested in pandering to children with ADD/HADD with no standards than making truly good shows. The worst part is that it's working for them

I don't really follow the figures from episode-to-episode but got the impresion, escpacially with Young Justice that the show was performing well in the ratings.
As for CN and their programming approach. Maybe one day there will be a new generation of kids with a greater attention span, who appreicate greater stroytelling that engages their minds.

Last time I was this upset about a TV show was 1996 when they canceled the animated THE TICK.
Eventually, I was ok. Then in 2001, it happens again, THEY CANCEL THE TICK AGAIN.
Oh yea then Futurama & Serenity

Well lets look at the options here:-
1/ A petition (won't work been done before and failed more times than it has succeeded).
2/ Stop watching the channel (only makes a difference if your a Nielson family).
                            or option 3
                            A vendetta.
To achieve this you need to convince enough people with Nielson boxes to boycott a specific show ideally the networks highest rated show all at the same time.
This will cause the overnights to drop. What this achieve is shows you have power. Live ratings count most networks and advertisers don't count shows you tivo or DVR.
If you could get the support from enough Nielson box owners behind you then you could basically demand whatever you wanted e.g. immediate firing of the head of CN and a minimum on 1hrs programming a week of high quality WB studios produced content a week.
You would probably need to make serval period demonstrations of trashing their ratings but lets face facts a CEO who has a function of making money for a company being held responsible for great financial losses doesn't stay a CEO for an awfully long time.
Ted Turner is certainly not stupid enough to keep a guy on the payroll who is hurting his business and profits.

Probably something to do with DC being owned by Warner Brothers and them being owned by Turner just like CN.
They may be operating a policy of "If I'm not playing with my toys, I'm not giving them to the other kids I don't like to play with because them people will like them more than me".
or it could be someting completely different!

While this saddens me, at least both series will get to finish their current seasons.
It really is a shame that Cartoon Network has gone from a channel of, well, cartoons to a channel that plays 3 20-minute shows in 2-hour blocks.

i demand we start a campaign to have it renewed like the show "jericho" was, only we send printouts of the logos for green lantern and young justice, and while we are at it, add a logo for a show each of us dont like, only with a circle and slash across the one we dont like! a similar campaign worked to get jericho renewed after it was cancelled, people flooded the ceo's with tons and tons of nuts in relation to a term used in one of the episodes.
