i have heard that it is between these ladies:

Diane Kruger
Elizabeth Banks
Megan Fox
Jessica Alba and
Jennifer Garner
I think Megan Fox would be the best choice, but let's consider ladies we haven't thought of:
Natalie Portman
Jennifer Love Hewitt
Kristen Bell
Rachel McAdams
Anne Hathaway
Emily Blunt
Kiera Knightly
Evangeline Lily

None of them are being considered right now because development has stopped on the project for the time being. If the movie starts with the origin story then whoever plays Diana should be tall (ideally, between 5' 9" and 6'), in her twenties (early thirties at most), classically beautiful with an athletic build, dark (black) hair and blue (or gray) eyes. Of course, some of that can be faked.
Morena Baccarin (one of the ladies who I like for the role) is already pushing the envelope on age (she turned 30 in 2009). Bridget Regan might be good; but, I'd have to see what she'd look like after costume and make-up. Megan Fox is too short and has already said (somewhat insultingly) that she has no interest in the role. Honestly, I also think that she looks to "slutty."

you know what i actually think Megan Gale would look good as wonder women. seriously look her up if you don't know her ay. don't know if she can act though so that might be a bit of a hinder

I think that America Ferrera would be a good Wonder Woman. Given as Ugly Betty she doesnt look it but when you see her on the red carpet she definetly looks gorgeous. Plus a lot women and men like her, she's curvy and has recently loss Just the amount of extra weight to have that good 8 figure. Another big plus she can definitely ACT which is definite big must for THIS role not to mention she is the right age mid 20s. She has a real women's attitude which means she seems like the type to take no BS when it is thrown her way, the only minus is that she is a little short and doesnt have blue or gray eyes but with all those other points hitting dead on I could definitely over look that. Also my choice for the director is Melina Matsoukas since she has directed some awesomely stunning music videos which have a great imbedded theme of woman empowerment as well as being visually stunning.

America Ferrera is 5' 1". You can argue that there is room to quibble about what Diana's height should be, but that's far too short to be Wonder Woman.

I'd rather an unknown or at least relatively obscure actress get cast. If the role went to anyone on that list i'd be dissapointed. Frankly when I think of todays actresses I don't really feel like too many of them can pull off the superhero believability vibe that's crucial to the film.
I hope Megan Fox said she had no interest in the role because she knows she's a skank and wouldn't want to ruin the movie with her horrible acting. She's perfect for crappy movies that don't require acting chops like Revenge of the Fallen, but as the title character in superhero movie? Please God no. -

My vote is for Mary Elizabeth Winstead (she played Gwen Grayson in "Sky High").
She's grown up a lot since then. She's got a hot, in shape body and appears tall. Sometimes she even resembles a young Linda Carter (almost).
She's got a gorgeous face, is not super well known (which I always like for Super hero movies, thank you Christopher Reeve!) and she's already an actress so it's not like finding a model who looks the part, but can't act.

Don't have HBO, so I haven't seen her series. Any idea what Ms. Commings' height and age are? Wonder Woman should look like she's in her 20s and should be somewhere between 5' 8" and 5' 11" in height (going by her comic-book incarnations). The modern version of Diana is listed as 5' 11" tall with a weight of 135 lbs.

- I heard she's 31 years old and about 5"8
but hey Hugh Jackman is taller than Wolverine but he did a good job until he was ruined in the scripts of the later movies. So what do you think?

On the physical end, Erin is a little on the short side, but not really short. She is also a little older than I would prefer if I were casting this; however, she might be able to maintain a youthful look for possible sequels and other potential follow-ups (like a
Justice League
movie).
If Erin can project the presence of an Amazon warrior-princess and can also bring out Diana's compassion, she might do.

@Otaku Sempai: She does both Strong,Compassionate,and Sexy in the role of Sura in Spatacus:Blood and Sand where she has a couple fight scenes. She's the only person I can really think of for the role that wouldn't be lazy casting but 15 years ago I woulda said Catherine Zeta Jones. But atleast she's relatively unknown,has acting and fighting experience,and is not in the "Megan Fox Ballpark" of eye candy but talentless female actresses,you know what I mean? lol

Maybe WB should let us form they're casting call list of people to audition since we cast our characters better than Hollywood casters anyway,what do you say?
Somebody should petition for fans to make judgement on their casting for this role so they don't make stupid choices ala Megan Fox

Now I know she may be pushing the age a bitbut she's taller than most and has the look.
You don't have to worry about age in this case because the Amazons are already hundreds of years old.
Right now shes a toothpick, but If she were to put on about 15-20 pounds of muscle she would be perfect.
