Jennifer Connelly
is
pushing the age a bit. She turns 40 this year.
You don't have to worry about age in this case because the Amazons are already hundreds of years old.
The Amazons are also gifted with eternal youth. And Diana is significantly less than 3000 years old. In her 1990 reboot, she is just reaching adulthood when she takes up the mantle of Wonder Woman. Even in her earlier incarnations, it can be assumed that Diana stopped ageing as soon as she reached her physical peak.
Connelly is tallish, but still a bit short to play Diana (who's height has been given as between 5' 8" (Golden Age) to 5' 11" (Modern Age).

This is true, but certain technicalities can be wavied.hollywood does it all the time.
I know Connelly is pushing 40, but on screen she still has a supremely youthful look.
I can't think of anyone in young Hollywood that can pull off the roles. Unless they cast an unknown. Then its 50/50 hit or miss

She is perfect, now or ten years ago. She is the hottest woman alive, you need to see a doctor and check to see if there is still blood in ur veins if u dont think so

@KCJ506: What do you think of Erin Cummings?,she's a good actress that plays on Spartacus:Blood and Sand and she looks great for the role.

@KCJ506: Well I recommend you watch Spartacus:Blood and Sand(which plays on Starz on Saturdays btw), where she plays a character named Sura who is the main character's wife but she appears in flashbacks as well after her character dies.

Nice to know we have a Buffy/Angel fan in the house.
Although she is too old for the part, Brooke Shields has the height and charisma for the role.

I never thought that Brooke Shields had the right face for Diana, not even when she starred as
Brenda Starr
in 1989. I didn't realize, though, that she was quite that tall (6 ft.).

Carpenter didn't even look right for the role 10 years ago, which is the last time that she would have been youthful enough. Maybe the cougar could play the Cheetah.

This may be a tad late..but has anyone considered Olivia Wilde? She's gorgeous, dark hair, strong face. I think she would be perfect for WW.
She's also 26 so that's a good age I believeand she's 5'7 and a half

If Angelina Jolie wasn't already 35, I'd saymaybe. As it is, she would be better as an established Wonder Woman in a
Justice League
movie than as a young Diana who is new to Man's World.
