syndicated action series.I mean there isn't even one on the air right now.Hell, back in the 1998-1999 season there was Baywatch,PSIFactor,Viper,The Crow,Mortal Kombat:Conquest,Pensacola:Wings of Gold,Xena,Hercules,Air America,Honey I Shrunk The Kids,Nightman,Earth:Final Conflict,V.I.P.,Special Ops Force,Highlander:The Raven and Robin Hood. Now granted not all of the shows were good and they had a shoestring budget, but alot of them were entertaining and it was something to watch on the weekends.Does anyone know why they completely stopped producing these kinds of shows?

Some of those series where on UPN, others on WB. Theres beena shake up going on in tv since the mid 90's. old producers and directors are being replaced or forced out or tricked out of their jobs so networks could make way for newer hotter younger properties.
Theirs a reason why the WB network calls itself the WB17 network. Plus, alot of those shows werent written very well. I know what you are talkingabout because there used to be a time when the networks had more to offer.
But then came DVD and then came supercable which offers the scifi channel, adult swim, cartoon network, USA and these networks ultimately want to destroy free tv so only cable still exists. From a business point of view I understand, but from a tv fan point of view I think it sucks.
I dont have cable tv. Yeah, Yeah, I know I'm the last person in the world who doesnt have that but I dont want to pay the money. Some of the series you mentioned are on DVD and those DVD production companies are making tons of money because theres not much on tv right now worth watching.
