Anyone feel this kinda had some very anime-ish animation, especially when that alien gets sucked out of the ship. Kinda feels like a Ben 10 Alien Force artist.

I didn't feel it was "too Anime". Mainly going by the character's faces. As for the action, I felt it was pretty fluid and there was some obvious CGI mixed in there (especially with Sinestro's Giant Yellow Power Battery), but it didn't make me feel like I was watching Anime.
When you compare this to "Batman: Gotham Knight", which was intentionally supposed to have an "Anime" feel, Green Lantern doesn't really seem like it.
I think it's getting more difficult to tell nowadays because it feels like both Western and Japanese Animation are borrowing techniques from each other.

Alright western animation has borrowed from anime its simplicity. Its easier to animate less then shapes are constructed less detailed. Its easier to replicate straight lines then it is to replicated round objects(Like a human torso). Though unlike anime western animators seem to actually animate multiple frames as opposed to utilizing a still image and making the mouth move up and down or reusing old fight footage.

There were a couple times when it seemed a little "animie like," but most of the time in the film's animation, not so much really, in my approximation.

That's my take as well. It looked like they looted Hal's first GL transformation sequence from Sailor Moon!

I think that the scene was a homage to the 1984 anime film

I completely agree. It definitely had the feel of the latest anime movies. The end credits also point to a lot of Japanese names.

Well, it was animated by Telecom Animation. A Japanese studio that was one of many that animated the immortal anime classic "Akira" including many of the same animators working primarily in the capacity of animation directors.

The blue guys in this movie looked a lot like the blue guys in Akira.
Also, the smoke effect was a lot like Akira

I know exactly what you mean. Some parts looked realistically soft of animated like the Crisis on Two Earths movie and other parts looked more like Digimon.
