That was one of the best parts of the graphic novel. I was really waiting for that moment when Superman would lay the smack down.
The ending fight made up for it, but only a little.

Course like the comic's ending, Superman kicking ass while wearing a Kryptonite ring doesn't make much sense, given he should be as messed up by wearing it as Kara.

In the comic his hand gets all messed up while wearing it, but he punches her in the face with the ring.
Also, he's had exposure to kryptonite before and she has not. It would affect her more.
