When I saw MAD TV, it did not reach the feel of the magazine.
It looked more like SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, but with annoying characters.
There is not enough Don Martin or Spy vs. Spy.
    This showlook at it.
This is just what the doctor ordered!
    Don Martin
    Sergio Argones
    Spy vs. Spy
Lampooning of movies TV shows and other forms of popular culture!
Now THAT is a TV show based on Mad Magazine.

The Blue M&M joke is pretty bad, but you know what? It's doing it in the exact same style as MAD Magazine is doing it today, and because of that, I laughed.
I laughed consistently throughout. These writers and animators are making more money then I am, and it's not bad. Yeah, reading "Avaturd" on my DVR bothered me, but I think it's because MAD probably came up with "Avatard" first, or they aren't trying to get audiences to overuse the "-Tard" suffix as its already in an offense usage already.
I don't know. But all that aside, it's everything I love about MAD magazine since I was a kid and more. I hope it stays on, it responds to that sophomoric need that everybody has to have otherwise granite has to be coursing through your veins.
It's like laughing at "Blazing Saddles", it's immature, but it's funny.

I'm guessing this is some kinda pilot, they can't justify themselves so easily with 10 minutes so I'll reserve my final judgement. Regarding mad tv and spy vs. spy: I agree but this show was still time wasted which I could use to waste my time on other channels such a youtube. Nowhere close to fun, let alone funny. If you feel nostalgic and you want to like this show, time to grow out from it I think. Caruso could have been nice at the end, but nothing funny again.
What I'm saying is this is another sad attempt to try to juice us. I used to love MAD but even back then it was not very funny. I was young and naive, to me buying MAD was justified, just because it was MAD and I had to get it. The joke is on them unless you watch this utter beep on TV then it's on you.
The only thing I liked was the internet cat playing piano, but god rest his soul, he probably has more fans than Elvis Presley by now, for realeveryone loves that guy. Elvis was dope but internet cat is a natural. So young to die and so much talent.
