What are the differences between this and the comic series?

Some fairly major changes were made. These are the ones I remember.
- Old Superman from the future arriving in the Batcave and trying to kill Clark and Bruce.
- Luthor making it seem as though Metallo/ Corben was THomas and Martha Wayne's murderer.
- The Economic Downturn that led to Luthor's presidency was added in along with the initial ferrari chase leading up to Atom and Power Girl talking to Superman.
- The Docks/ Graveyard fight scenes were merged into one.
- John Stewarts Green Lantern was replaced with Black Lightning.
- Katana doesn't join Supes and Bats and the group don't travel to TOkyo where Captain Atom contains Major Force's explosion sending Atom to the future to converse with Old Superman.
- Luthor doesn't invade Toyman's factory and harbours no plans of letting the meteor hit on purpose.
- There is no 'Secret Bunker' instead the Whitehouse is the base of operations.
- Superboy, Nightwing and others don't appear where in the comic they helped batman and superman infiltrate the whitehouse.
- Batman flew the spaceship instead of Captain Atom.
- Luthorcorp tower doesn't collapse at the end or even appear. Luthor is arrested instead of dissapearing.
- All references to Boomtubes are removed and changed to 'Artificial wormholes' with no explanation to why they have the tech. Darkseid is not mentioned either.
Overall some major changes which in many cases hurt the movie. THe removal of the early tokyo scene makes the Toyman's appearance int he movie seem out of place and taking out the Old Superman was a shock to me as I loved that part of the comic.
ALso removing the White House infiltration was annoying as yet again another great scene that would have fit in in the movie. I guess they didn't want to cast all those other chracters.
Overall the movie is okm but pales in comparison to the comic.
I hope they learned their lesson and don't tamper too much with the story of 'Supergirl'.
