Yes, Bruce Timm wnet on record saying that Superman Doomsday, like all the other DCAU direct-to-DVD movies would not be within the same continuity like JL, Batman: TAS, Superman: TAS, and so on. This was satnd alone and they felt since it wasn't connected new voices would be the way to go.
And I disagree I thought the vocie acting was pretty good, and apapetnly this is the best performance by Anne Heche, lol.
Haven't you heard? Nobody can have fun at the movies anymore -

I thought the voices were okaymy only problem was with Adam Baldwin sounding like an even more retarded Peter Griffin whenever he was supposed to be "Clark Kent."

I thought Adam Baldwin threw out a decent voice for Superman, and James Marsters was a decent Lex, though I wasn't big on Anne Heche's Lois. I've been hearing rumors that Adam was the original choice to do Superman/Clark Kent on the 1996 Superman: TAS but he wasn't available so the part went to Tim Daly instead, who in turn was replaced by George Newbern for Justice League.

I love Adam's voice and thought he was good when he was "Superman" - it was just the Clark Kent persona that sounded a little strange to me. I thought Anne Heche did a pretty good job as Lois - a little quavery at times, though.

After reading the other posts I would have to agree with following:
-Throwing him into space preferably the sun
-Superman going out like he did
-I checked the movie was about 70 some minutes long but the fight lasted for ten minutes and the movie was called Superman Doomsday.
-Doomsday didn't return. I wondered where did they take his body afterwards
-Lois kinda realizing Clark is Superman and at the end was shock when she found out it was him- Where were the other heroes?
The concept failed to meet the standards of the comic book or even the cartoon for that matter. I guess as a fan of Superman I liked the fact that they made a cartoon that placed him against a very powerful villain. But the movie was really based on Superman and Lois relationship. I really don't care for that relationship when the movie based on Superman meeting a very powerful force, dying, and coming back to life. And the fact that they did not include anyone else for that matter is an affront to the fans who enjoy this. Their relationship scenes lasted more than that fight. For the most part I enjoyed Superman taking on Doomsday but that was it.
"The last man that told me to sit down was your mother"
"Death to the opposition"
- Where were the other heroes?
