I heard he had the first comic framed in the pool house. Never actually saw it though.

I saw that too. I just recently purchased Static #1 and I got a poster of the cover. They had the exact same one.
I saw it on the episode where Will and his date sets up Carlton with a really tall rude amazon. And Carlton eventually makes out with Will's date. I hope that helps.
