She was carrying some liquid that was another part of marcus auroa project.In which both chemicals put together was a lethal combination for the purebloods only.Not to the turned vampires.

Further, Blade used some of his connections in the vampire-hunting underground in Europe to set the woman (Vanessa) up with a new identity and a new life elsewhere, at a location even Blade wasn't allowed to know. The anti-pureblood chemical was extracted from her by a doctor ally of Blade's, though it was determined she would never be able to have (real) children as a result.
