I have no doubt that this movie will be great just like all the other batman cartoon's (Except that crap called Justice League) however I am a little dissapointed to hear that Nightwing will not be in it. Bruce and Dick were the original team and he was always the most enjoyable character.

Im still wondering if they will ever do a Nightwing/Batman Beyond scriptafter all, they already told you what happened to Tim Drake in Return of the Jokerseems fair to show what happened to Nightwing
Just an idea anyways -

If you wanna see some new Nightwing work by Loren Lester, pick up Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu for PS2, Xbox, or Gamecube and play as Nightwing. Conroy also did Batman, Strong did Batgirl, Elizondo did Bane, Perlman did Clayface, and Combs did Scarecrow. I don't know why it's not listed on the IMDb

u know, there was a talk of doing that. i heard that paul dini actually penned a rough draft of the script. it was about dick grayson finally meeting the new batman (terry) and meeting up with bruce. dick has a daughter and then theres a some sort of competition on who inherits the mantle of the bat. terry or his daughter? eventually, dick and his daughter respect terry and realize that bruce couldnt have chosen anyone better for the mantle. the controversy started when dini said that dick's daughter should become batgirl or somethingthe bad news is that they finally said no 2 dini's script. it was not bad, but batgirl in the beyond didnt make sense, even 2 me. just wanted 2 bring that up for u guys.
i miss nightwing too, he should come up. and also i dont blieve it is grayson in teen titans. contrary 2 most beliefs, that robin is tim. i think sooner or later, they will do something with that character. either he'll show up in the JL or probably make an appearance in the teen titans or maybe he'll show up in some batman animated movie.i hope he does..as long as loren lester is nightwing, i am satisfied. -

oh yes, i also want 2 add that if there is a nightwing/batman animated movie, it should be a theatre and dvd release. i am sure it will make a lot of money cos all the bat fans in the world are just dying 2 see nightwing and batman together.

Ummm robin in the teen titans is dick. I know this post is old so you probably know now. But nightwing appears in teen titans when robin is a older in the future(starfire goes through time) -

According to the producers on Teen Titans, Robin is neither Tim Drake or Dick Grayson, despite the fact that Robin is Nightwing in the future. They said that Robin is just Robin, and it's up to the viewers to decide if he's Tim, Dick, or even Jason Todd. However, the Teen Titans Robin is based on Dick Grayson's origin. I got this from http://www.titanstower.com/source/animated/00indexanimated.html

Plus in the episode where the little chubby magic Robin comes through to their dimension and says his name, it is Dick Grayson backwards, even more noticeable if you slow down the DVD when he says it, as it flashes across the screen then goes behind him and can easily be read.

They already told us what happen to Nightwing. Shortly after he and Korand'ir (Starfire) were married she was killed and left Dick Grayson to raise their infant daughter. She grows up to be Blackfire and polices Bludhaven. She's seen in the last four episodes of Batman Beyond that did not air because of 9/11. They're on the box DVD set.
