I should think that even if some filmmakers would actually have the poor taste of making an AI generated remake, wouldn't that open up a whole legal can of worms?
Filmmakers have to pay for the copyrights in order to use of an artist's music for a commercial, a TV show or a movie.
I would assume they would have to go through the same legal channels.
All of this AI stuff is still confusing to me. I get a bad feeling when I see this sort of thing.

I can remember those people by watching their movies and listening to their music.

Oh shut up. There's nothing wrong or "creepy" with seeing AI generated an image or video that shows someone reunited with their lost love one.
I would love for AI to create something like that for me and my daughter that I lost 2 years ago -
