The left is, on average, FAR WORSE in spewing untrue and hyped up language in attempts to smear people they disagree with.
They've done it so much that a recent poll showed 55% of Dems said it would be reasonable to kill Trump.

I still highly doubt the results. What was the methodology? Is it an online poll where everyone trolls? From the same article you linked it suggested that republicans were actually slightly more likely to believe political violence is justified than democrats did.
In a November 2017 YouGov poll, when asked if violence was justified to advance political goals, only 8% of Democrats and Republicans said it was “at least a little bit justified.” Although the pollster stopped asking the question in the same way in 2020, the percentage of people who said it was at least “a little” justified had already risen to 36% among Republican respondents and 33% among Democratic respondents.
