It was a weak year for movies. This year I rated 30 films a 5/10 or less and only 9 films a 9/10.

I liked a fair bit this year. Of course, Terrfier 3 is top of my list of "that hit the spot"s.
Gotta say I absolutely loved Flow. You have to see it. It's gorgeous and lovely but also….tense. There's drama. But thankfully no dialogue so you don't have to hear animals talking. It's a perfect little animated film. And so beautiful. I just loved every second.

Oh that type of talking you hear, from all the animals. Lots of familiar little noises cat owners know. But I've never seen such attention to detail, it really added to the film's beauty. Every ear twitch, just everything. It's a wonderful piece of work, in my opinion.
