There is a lot of crossover there Lara and it is conceivable that The Drinker could pull together enough footage for a 12 minute video and upload it with his reworked narrative and get more hits for his current popularity, hence more money
He would look like a dick for doing so and lose any credibility because of that and so it'd be a tiny venture gained for a massive collapse of an empire.
More than likely people are talking about the costs of movies and how they are all losing out and not breaking even and it has become a model of Jung's theory of the collective unconscious and therefore a topic ripe for picking
Filmstack, in your OP, has a rich and varied tale to tell with lots of things The Drinker doesn't mention in this breakdown of costs. Likewise The Drinker has lots of things that Filmstack doesn't mention in his. It could just be two minds working at the same time on a problem recognised by both independently
Perhaps the Drinker will even give a shoutout to Filmstack for making such a detailed and accessible video

They probably both just asked Chatgpt to come up with an outline for a video about movies being too expensive, a fairly generic topic, and it gave them a similar output. I doubt anyone would intentionally steal someone else's video when they would get easily caught.

Critical Drinker has at least stolen aspects of the Mr. Plinkett persona from Red Letter Media.
If being drunk and having a prostitute girlfriend are aspects of the Plinkett character that can be stolen then yes
But that means Mike Stoklasa stole those aspects from countless other characters written before Mr. Plinktt.
Now the video essay format with fictional character pieces added to it? Yeah
Drinker and anyone with an overexaggerated persona within their critiques of particular movies in YouTube videos is guilty of that
But that existed before with MST3K, Cheap Seats, Rifftrax and Roger Ebert (As well as many others).
I'd say Red Letter Media made it look simple, and some lucky people have managed to recreate that vibe and been successful from it. But stolen is not the past participle I'd claw at when weighed against the quality of their productions.
