Both actors have several movies in pre and post production, so it seems they'll be around for a few years outside of Star Wars. I also think that they're both talented young actors, so even if they're not in constant blockbuster demands, I think they'll be around in some capacity. Either in supporting roles or in modestly performing smaller movies.
    What are your thoughts?

I think you're on target with smaller films and supporting roles. On the available evidence Ridley is the more limited of the two, but seems a natural fit for the roles Keira Knightley passes on or is too old for. Despite being the more talented of the two and having more screen presence, Boyega's more likely to go the Mark Hamill route - a few modest budget pictures that don't take off before finding a niche in straight to video genre flicks and the convention circuit.

You're probably right about Boyega. Although, i hope one of the roles he has in the future breaks him out, because you're right, he is really talented and charismatic. He's excellent in Attack the Block; playing the stoic antihero like a young Clint Eastwood.

Boyega has the talent and presence to go far. As long as he picks his roles well he'll be around for quite awhile(at least as a mid-level star/character actor). Ridley? I'll hold off making that guess until I see more from her.

I can't see either actor playing a factor in a film opening well, quite honestly.
Regarding talent, it's often quite hard to tell in big franchise pictures what sort of stuff a lead may be capable of (as an example of this, one gets the impression that Keira Knightley is faintly embarrassed by the likes of PotC or King Arthur, whilst Orlando Bloom likely dines out on them to this day).
It seems fairly clear that Boyega has the potential for a more respectable career, although Ridley may have been dealt a bad hand by a script that didn't give her anything interesting to do. Then again, it's not really a franchise that allows an actor to make any sort of imprint that reflects their typical type. Even in the case of Harrison Ford, Indiana Jones feels closer to a typical Ford role than Han Solo.

I think Boyega has more potential to have a wider range of roles, leading, supporting, being a bit of a 'character actor', etc.
Ridley feels like Hollywood will want to type-cast her in Rey-Esque roles, and that will be a detriment in the long run.
In terms of 'which of them will be in bigger hit movies?' That is hard to say. John Boyega is the lead in the Pacific Rim sequel. At first glance that automatically looks like it will pull in more 'blockbuster' type numbers than anything Ridley CURRENTLY has lined up.
Not sure if either will break into 'megastar' status though outside of the Star Wars films.
But heck, Mark Hamill has two absolutely iconic roles to his name: Luke Skywalker and The Joker.and that is more than a lot of successful actors/actresses can say.
